Featured Program

 International Stock Market Game

 

The International Stock Market Game is a program for kids 8-18 interested in entrepreneurship and investing. Participants manage virtual investment portfolios with $100,000 of game money, receive coaching and collaborate with peers. The program teaches about the stock market, investment strategies, and risk management, while developing skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and communication. The game is internationally competitive and prizes are awarded for the most profitable portfolios. 

Participating in the game, kids will gain further insight into:

  • companies and sectors of their interest.
  • the variety of investment vehicles.
  • the concepts and importance of diversification.
  • investment objectives and risks.
  • critical resources available to aid in choosing their investments.
  • how their own emotions may influence their investment decisions.

 

Participating kids will:

  • grow collaboration skills as they work on a team to build and grow their investment portfolio.
  • compete internationally, against other teams playing at the same time.
  • win awards for building the most profitable portfolio.
  • win awards for writing the best essay reflecting their experience.
