Ages 9-15

Virtual Escape Room

 Students will have fun working together to identify problems, analyze situations, and collaborate to successfully escape! Critical thinking and logic are necessary to complete these exciting games!

Learn and Grow with Friends: Local and Global Awareness Series

Explore ways kids around the world experience daily life as you make connections to your own.  

The first two sessions include Most Unusual Ways to Get to School and Where Kids Around the World Sleep.

Learn and Grow with Friends: Most Unusual Ways to Get to School

This club, our first of a series, will empower students to grow in both self and social awareness as they experience empathy and expand their creativity. After collaborating in small groups studying a set of images, our students will write and share poems from a variety of perspectives. 

Ages 8-14

Cooking and Cultures 

Learn organizational, planning and hosting skills  as you develop creativity in cuisine that will last a lifetime.  Have fun interacting with other kids who also love to bake, as you create decadent desserts. By the end of the session, you will be able to prepare, serve and impress your family with favorite sweet treats, along with the stories behind them!

Ages 8-13

Creative Problem Solving

In this forum club, you will have fun exploring a variety of problems that require critical and creative thinking to find innovative solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on problems independently and in a group with kids from around the world. Bring your imagination and passion for solving tough problems! 

Ages 8-15

American Sign Language

Learn to communicate clearly and to build relationships through learning a new language together. You will learn American Sign Language fingerspelling, numbers, vocabulary, and practice conversational skills with your friends from around the world.

Ages 8-11

Celebration of Cultures

Students are invited to share and celebrate their cultural heritage with friends from around the world.  Participants will become a more connected global community as they celebrate their diverse cultures. Please bring artifacts to share that highlight your country and culture - food, clothing, language, music, currency, holiday items, map, photos, etc. 

Ages 11-14

Mystery Book Club

Facilitated book club that will encourage kids to strengthen their communication and critical thinking skills. Kids who like to play the board game "Clue" or the video game "Among Us" will love this unpredictable murder mystery by Agatha Christie.

 

Ages 9-16

An Artist's Eye

Do you have the itch to scratch with pencil, ink or charcoal?  You can develop your skills with experts and new friends from around the world.

Creative Writing

 This course will have a focus on “Fun with Fiction!" It is designed to bring out the creative side of kids through writing collaboratively with new friends.

Becoming a Peacemaker

Peace is made through relationships. Kids worldwide will develop their empathy, moderation, negotiation, and diplomacy skills by studying conflicts and actually practicing the skills.

 Parent Forum

 You’re the experts on your kids! What ideas do you have for what would be helpful for both parents and kids? What are the kids not getting in school that Junior Presidents could supplement? How can we help support you as parents?  Come with ideas to share.
