This course will have a focus on “Fun with Fiction”! It is designed to help young writers of any skill level build confidence in their abilities. The writing portion of the class will include simple instructions on how to develop characters, setting, dialogue, narrative arc, and more. Each session will include an assortment of unique writing prompts to inspire creativity, along with opportunities to revise and share your work. We will also read and study excerpts from popular fiction, discuss the craft of writing, and participate in fun community-building activities.
