(Based on JPO Monthly Forums)
Students spend the first hour of each day learning about themselves and others, creating goals and plans to meet their goals.
Focus:
- Goal Setting
- Growth Mindset
- Relationship Building
- Social Emotional Skill Development
- Leadership Opportunities
Second Hour of each Day
Select from one of these JPO Interest-Based Clubs
Kids choose how they spend the second hour of the day. Based on their passions and skills, they choose a JPO club to join with others around the world who share the same interests.
Club Options Include:
- Virtual Escape Rooms
- American Sign Language
- An Artist's Eye
- Building
- Writing
- Games (Chess, Cribbage, etc.)
- And More!
Third Hour of each Day
Empathy
Through Stories
During the last hour of the day, participants will become more confident, self-aware, and empathetic as they learn about others around the world, listen to others’ stories and begin to tell their own.
Focus:
- What and Whys of Storytelling
- Perspective - Connecting through Photos
- Telling Someone Else's Story
- Sharing Your Story (Writing/Video/Art/Etc.)
